New in 2026: Hands-On Training in Mechanical Circulatory Support
We’re excited to launch THT’s first-ever hands-on training program, designed to give participants practical, real-world experience with both acute and durable mechanical circulatory support (MCS). This interactive program takes place the day before THT officially begins and offers an exclusive opportunity for industry partners to support a highly impactful educational experience.
Program Highlights
- Small group format: Having a large number of small groups rotating among stations throughout the day maximizes learners’ interactions with faculty and ensures a rich hands-on experience for all participants.
- Comprehensive coverage: Didactic sessions plus immersive, rotating breakout sessions (~45 minutes each).
- Clinical focus: Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of key principles, indications, and management strategies for both acute (IABP, ECMO, Impella) and durable (LVAD) support.
- Hands-on learning: Direct experience with device setup, troubleshooting, and management through case-based scenarios and expert-led discussions.
- Collaborative training: Enhances the skills clinicians need to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in critical care settings.
Why Support This Program?
This is a unique, high-visibility opportunity for your company to be part of THT’s inaugural hands-on program. By supporting this initiative, you’ll help advance essential clinical training while aligning your brand with cutting-edge education and innovation in heart failure care.
